Foundry Labs · Wealth firms

AI for wealth firms that keeps the adviser in charge.

Wealth firms hold sensitive client information and answer for the advice they give. We help firms decide where AI fits, set the governance around it, and build workflows for documents, research and client service in which an adviser reviews anything that reaches a client.

How we keep an adviser accountable

An adviser reviews what reaches a client

Every workflow has a review step. The system prepares; an adviser decides and signs off.

Sources you can check

Answers and summaries point to the documents they came from, so an adviser can verify them against the original.

Client data designed in, not added later

Before building we map where client information goes, who processes it and what each vendor retains, so the design fits your obligations.

A record of what happened

Inputs, outputs and approvals are logged, so you can show how a document or recommendation was prepared.

Questions we are asked

Can a wealth firm use AI with client information?
It depends on where the data is processed, what the vendor’s terms allow them to keep or train on, and how outputs are supervised. We map those data flows before anything is built and design the workflow around your obligations. We do not give legal or regulatory advice, and your compliance function decides what is acceptable for your firm.
Will AI give advice to clients?
Not in the systems we build. They prepare documents, summaries and research for an adviser, who remains responsible for what the client receives.
Where does AI help most in a wealth practice?
In document-heavy and repetitive work: reading statements and client documents, preparing file notes and reports, searching internal procedures and research, and drafting routine client communications for adviser review.
Where should a wealth firm start with AI?
With an Opportunity & Readiness Assessment of one to two days, which maps your workflows, data and tools and ends with prioritised next steps. If you already know the priority, we can start with governance or a single workflow instead.
What does it cost?
Our day rate is $2,000 + GST. An assessment runs one to two days, and the full price list is on the services page. Scope and price are confirmed before work begins.
