Foundry Labs

Privacy Policy

Last updated 22 September 2026

Foundry Labs (referred to here as "we", "us" or "Foundry Labs") is the innovation arm of Madison Marcus. This policy explains what personal information we collect through foundrylabs.com.au, our internal tools, and the third-party platforms we connect to, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We are based in Sydney, Australia, and handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

Information we collect

We collect information in a few distinct ways:

  • Information you give us directly. If you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, company, the type of enquiry you select, and the message you write.
  • Information collected automatically. We record which pages are visited and their titles in our own database, independent of cookie preferences, so we can understand how the site is used. Our hosting and database providers may separately log technical details such as IP address as a standard part of operating the infrastructure.
  • Information from cookies and similar technologies. Described in the next section.
  • Information from connected platforms. We use internal tools connected to social media platforms such as LinkedIn and X to monitor public content relevant to our industry and to draft and publish content on Foundry Labs' own accounts (see "Third-party platforms and integrations" below). Any information these tools access is information made publicly available by those platforms, used for our own marketing purposes.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies, grouped into four categories. Necessary cookies are always on; the rest apply only if you accept them, and you can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link in the site footer.

  • Necessary: required for the site to function and to remember your cookie preferences. Cannot be disabled.
  • Functional: support optional features on the site.
  • Analytics: help us understand how visitors use the site in aggregate. Set to deny tracking by default; only activates if you accept analytics cookies.
  • Marketing: reserved for marketing measurement tools. None are currently active; this policy will be updated before any are switched on.

Third-party platforms and integrations

We use a small number of third-party service providers to run this site and our business, each under its own privacy and security terms:

  • Hosting and database providers, which store our site's data, including contact form submissions and page-view records, on our behalf.
  • Analytics providers, which give us aggregate traffic analytics when analytics cookies are accepted.
  • LinkedIn, X and other social platforms: our internal marketing tools connect to these platforms' APIs to monitor publicly available news and industry content, and to draft and publish posts on Foundry Labs' own company accounts. Any information these tools access is used solely for Foundry Labs' own marketing and business purposes, is not sold, and is not used to make decisions about individuals outside our own team. Each platform's own privacy policy governs its handling of your information as a user of that platform.

How we use information

  • To respond to enquiries submitted through our contact form.
  • To operate, maintain and improve the site, including understanding which pages are useful.
  • To monitor industry news and manage our own marketing activity on LinkedIn, X and other social platforms.
  • To meet legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it to profile visitors for advertising by third parties.

Disclosure of information

We disclose personal information only to the service providers named above, who process it on our behalf, or where required by law. We do not otherwise share personal information with third parties without your consent.

Storage, security and retention

Personal information is stored with our service providers, using their security controls. We keep contact form submissions and page-view records for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, or as required by law, after which they are deleted or de-identified.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you may ask us what personal information we hold about you, request that we correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do so, or to raise a privacy concern, use our contact form. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

Children's privacy

This site is directed at businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
